I like that TV shows are starting to bleep themselves instead of pretending these characters wouldn’t swear.
Dreams
I had a dream where I was at work kind of, and a friend of mine gave me a DVD set of a TV show. It was like it was his show as in he had something do to with making it, and it looked like it was called Walking Dead but it wasn’t really. I never watched the show but I said I’d take it, and a customer came over and looked at the DVDs with a lot of interest. So I said he could have them since he was a fan, and in exchange he left a couple cookies for me. They were delicious.
In another dream I was running away from some kind of sea monster in a building, and I made it out in time. But then I decided to go back in, and I talked with someone who worked there about the infrastructure. I tried to ask him it was possible to break the glass protecting the outside world from the monster, but I tried to act really nonchalant.
One Year Ago Today
This was the day I started watching the show Mad Love, which only lasted one season when it followed HIMYM on CBS last year. I thought it was decent, but I guess it wasn’t good enough to stick around.
My Day
I slept in until 4:30 today because I went to bed so early this morning. This was the first day all week that I was just able to chill and watch shows all night. It’s weird that I sometimes wish I didn’t have to work so much because I only work 1-3 days a week which means 4-24 hours. That’s really not that much, and those are really easy days and hours as it is. I really like my free time, but I’m lucky that this week I got to work three days and make good money, as well as make a little bit at poker.
So I got caught up on a few shows and then caught the new ones, which were pretty good. Then I watched Moneyball, which I have been looking forward to seeing. I’m not really a baseball fan, but I liked the idea behind the movie (and the original book, about a real story). When I first saw the movie Star Trek I could only describe it as ‘fun,’ and similarly this movie would be considered ‘entertaining’. I never felt bored, and I didn’t really know what would happen next. I really enjoyed watching it, and it’s a good movie for anybody to watch. Then I just about finished Season 6 of Malcolm, leaving one more season. Then I went to bed close to 6am because I didn’t really feel tired until then. Thanks for reading, and “I should probably try to say something funny now, but I’m not really sure how to do that.”
