I finally went out tonight…to Replay Games & bought Zelda: Spirit Tracks for my DS. Now I got a new game.

One Year Ago Today

I watched a couple basketball games and then stayed downstairs to watch the Super Bowl on the big screen in HD.  I was by myself but at least I got to relax and watch the whole game and the commercials uninterrupted.

My Day

I was really tired last night when I went to bed, which hasn’t been the case for a long time.  So I didn’t set an alarm so I could sleep as long as I wanted, and I ended up sleeping for 12 hours and got up around 4:30pm.  I showered and decided to clean the church even though it was late.  I hoped my new watch would get in today but it didn’t, so hopefully tomorrow it will.

I grabbed a Shamrock Shake first, so now I’ve gotten three of them and all from different McDonald’s.  I then went to Replay Games to check out what they had.  Last night I looked on Amazon to see what they had so I could start on a new game, but I couldn’t decide on anything.  I was thinking about either a Zelda game or a Mario game, and today I went with Zelda:  Spirit Tracks for Nintendo DS.  I looked at some others but I didn’t want the original games with older graphics and effects, or the one where you just sail around on a ship.  This one seems the most regular one, and since it’s on DS it’ll be a significant improvement over Oracle of Ages/Seasons that I have for Game Boy Color.  I’ll start playing it either tomorrow or Wednesday probably.  Then I cleaned the church late but had no problem, and I listened to the new Snow Patrol album which was pretty good.

I went back home and had some ribs that my mom bought/made, and I “re”watched the Super Bowl since I missed almost all of it yesterday at work.  I saw all of the big plays of the game already, but 3-second glimpses didn’t show me much.  I also got to see all the commercials, and my obvious favorite was the one with Jerry Seinfeld.  The Ferris Bueller’s Day Off one was pretty good too.  So now I’m all caught up.

Then I watched the live Jimmy Fallon show that followed the Super Bowl, and then tonight’s episodes of HIMYM and 2 Broke Girls.  I like how the former tells the story in unique ways, like telling each individual story which puts it all together in the end.  The latter’s quick (and mostly dirty) jokes are bothering me more and more.  If it wasn’t for Kat Dennings I wouldn’t be watching this show at all.  And now I’ll try to go to bed.  Thanks for reading, and “If you were to leave and fulfill someone else’s dreams, I think I might totally be lost.”
