As much as I love eating chocolate chip pancakes, they’re a pain to have to make yourself. Back to cereal.
One Year Ago Today
I had a funny idea to go to a bar on my 22nd birthday and act like I thought I was turning 21 and could finally drink legally. Then when the bartender inevitably says something about how I could have been drinking for a year, I would act really upset and confused. I never tried it out, and now it’s probably too late to try it.
My Day
I woke up at one point in the morning and was really confused about what time and day it was. I thought it said it was like 5pm or something, but then I saw that it said it was AM and not PM so I was okay. I determined that it wasn’t several hours since I went to bed but not even one hour, which doesn’t make sense now because I went to bed at 6am. I also was afraid I’d sleep through a whole day because of that, but then I woke up a bit after 2pm and I was all straight.
Last night I got hungry just before going to bed, and I thought about staying up to eat which would have thrown me all off. But I went to bed and used my desire to make pancakes as motivation to get up. So I did make pancakes, but it took me a long time and I don’t think it was worth all the time and effort to mix the stuff together and clean up afterward. They were delicious though.
So I watched some late night shows on Hulu to get caught up on those, but I fell asleep for a couple hours while it was paused so that ate some time. My computer has been running really slow and weird for the last few days. First it started to randomly shut down in the middle of whatever I was doing, and it’d take forever to start back up properly. It’s doing that a couple times a day and I don’t like it. Then yesterday and today it has been running really slowly, making playing Words with Friends or watching anything on Hulu nearly impossible. I decided to finally get back to playing Pokemon, but I left off in a weird area and I don’t remember if I finished what I was doing here or what exactly I thought I needed to do there.
This is out of order, but shortly after I woke up my mom called me. She and my step-dad were in New York City to see a couple Knicks games and whatnot, and they stopped at the NBC store today. She saw some Seinfeld and The Office shirts and asked if I would want any of them. That reminded me that my friend Andrew showed me a website that had a bunch of them, but I must have forgotten about it. So we picked out a few shirts so I’m excited about that.
So after the Hulu shows I finally watched Ghostbusters. It was an alright movie, but I didn’t think it was as hilarious as everyone says. I was going to watch the sequel too but I didn’t get to it, so maybe that one will be better. I finished watching through Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I’m going to watch the newest season online hopefully which will be brand new to me. After that will be Seinfeld, and I might watch Malcolm in the Middle since they’re on Netflix and it seems like a funny show. And now bed at the respectable hour of 4am. Thanks for reading, and “Do you respect wood?”
