I just realized today that I still need to get a new wallet. It won’t get mailed to me like my phone or ID.
Dreams
There was one where I was sort of back in college and living in a big dorm complex, but I was also at work. I was just running around from one room to another for some reason, and I had to walk a long way to get back to work. That was about it.
One Year Ago Today
I had another deep run in an online tournament, but it was during a pretty unlucky stretch of online poker. Not much happened the rest of the day, but I noticed that I spent way too much time talking about basketball games in way too much detail.
My Day
I woke up at 1pm, and I’m not used to having a couple hours free before work. My mom and I have been working on my claim for my stolen phone, because on Wednesday when I went to the Verizon store they said I just had to call a number and they’d overnight it. But it was more complicated than that, and we had to file a claim and give some information that my mom had to do since it’s my step-dad who is the account holder and not me. But she was nice enough to take care of it for me, and it took several attempts for them to be able to read the ID clearly but finally today around 2:30pm we got it settled. But the black iPhone is on back order and could take 7-10 days to get to me, while the white phone could be here tomorrow. As much as I want or need a phone back, I’d rather wait a week for the right phone than settle for a white one which would be a two-year reminder that it’s only white because the original was stolen. I got an email back a little later that said the phone was available, and after a little more work it all went through and we’re all set now finally. It said next day but I guess the weekends don’t count, so I should get it by Monday.
I got ready for work and headed up with Brian and Sondra. It wasn’t exactly dead, and the tournament wasn’t too big and the room died down quite a bit. I got steady one-dollar tips with a few $2 and $3 ones, and I got a redbird on my last hand so that ended it on a good note. I made $92 from five downs which isn’t too bad.
We got Taco Bell on our way back, and when I got home I watched King Arthur. I saw it when it came out in theaters in 2004, but I don’t remember anything about it really except that Keira Knightley was really hot in it. I only watched it again to see her. Now I’m going to bed around 5am.
